Stay tuned...
I was faithful with my photo a day project until I sold my camera. Not having a camera made it extremely difficult to take a photo every day. Therefore, the project for this year has been discontinued (although I'm sure I still managed to take a photo nearly every single day of this year lol). But the project will resume on January 1, 2010 with a new and exciting twist. I LOVE this and am excited to pick this old blog back up and start over again. See you in a week or so!

July 25-August 2
So sad to see July end, but we still have one more month of summer to play so WELCOME August!
Sundays are so hard. With 1-4 church, naps don't happen and by 6:30 tonight Parker was yawning, rubbing his eyes, and grumpy. Indicators that bed time is just around the corner.

Both of these shots are taken by myself with my arm outstretched as I snuggled and played with C. The 2nd one is kind of funky, but I kinda liked it too.
Tonight we went to the Morgan County fair to spend the evening with my sister and her boys. Taylor, my nephew raised a pig to auction off at the fair. Last year and this year his pig was big enough to show and he was able to sell it for a decent chunk of change. Morgan is the "biggest little fair" in the state and I have loved going the past two years. Parker loves it too and especially loves this fast flowing river to throw rocks in to. Carson managed to catch a cat nap (surprised haha) and enjoy the rest of the fair wide eyed.
Today when I was sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor, I moved the chairs onto the carpet and Parker thought it looked just like spectator seats at a soccer game. After I finished working, he had us, along with a monkey and dinosaur, sit on the chairs and cheer at the fake soccer game. Apparently the stars of the match were my nephews Taylor and Jordan.
The "potty chart." Parker is still terrified to go #2 on the toilet so I have resorted to the ultimate trick up the sleeve. BRIBES. We went to Target to pick out his favorite toy, only to bring it home and set it out in plain site, still in the original package, for him to stare at and beg to open. The key is to go #2 10 times in order to fill up his sticker chart and then he gets to open the toy. Wish us luck!
Tiny man went to the dr today for his 4 month well check. All is well, but shots are no fun and later that evening he developed a little fever. Following a little dose of tylenol and a cold rag on his forehead and he was as good as new.

July 1-24
Finally, I'm all caught up! July has been a HOT, busy month and we've had tons of fun!
Parker could not keeps his eyes open during dinner tonight and finally just asked for his blanket and zonked right at the table. Those of you that know Parker, know that he does not slow down. EVER. This was a rare occasion, and SO cute. I think all of the festivities wore him right out.
We pulled out the saucer and dusted it off. Time for little man to play! He's still quite small but he loves it! Carson does not like to be laying down. If he's awake, he wants to be UP so this is perfect for him.

Tonight we went swimming at the pool in my brother Jeremy's neighborhood. My sister and her boys came too. Parker loved the water and even like swimming along with his floatie. He kept yelling out to anyone that could hear him "look at me, I'm swimmin!" Carson like chillin' in the lounge chair with Tammy and me. Thanks for a fun night Jer and Rachel!
Carson has a big brother that can't get enough of him. C is definitely LOVED in this family. Parker will always ask for "Cahsen" and tell me that he needs to play with him.
Another time when Parker "needs Cahsen." They entertain each other, already. And Parker loves to hold Carson's hands. It seems like these 2 brothers are really becoming great friends...
What? Just because you wear big boy underpants and have a new haircut, means you can help yourself to whatever you want? Parker sure seems to think so!

Potty training has begun! Parker is doing awesome. The first day was very long and tiring for both of us and I was ready to quit and take a break on day 2 but after a 2 hour trip running errands and returning home dry, I thought maybe he was doing better than I thought. Sure enough he caught on quick. No accidents sine July 10 (I am writing this on July 24th) and he even tells us when he needs to go. Getting Parker to go #2 on the other hand, is a different story. He is scared to death to do this on the toilet. I've tried every trick in the book and hope that someday he just decides to do it. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Finally our neighborhood park is in. Today we went down to check it out. Pretty fun, but will probably be even more fun in a couple of years. We're just glad it's done finally.
We did a few little fireworks at home this year and as you can see by the look on Parker's face, he had a great time :)
Today I went to Lagoon with my sister and her two boys. (Thanks mom for watching my boys!) We had a great time riding all of the rides. I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time!

I did it again...
I waited WAY too long to post again. Here is MOST of June in a nutshell (oh, and I realized I posted backwards. It ends with the most recent. I guess that's what happens when I'm posting in a hurry. Oh well!
The photo of the day today is courtesy of Parker. Thanks for snapping this fun picture bud! The lighting wasn't the best so it was a little grainy but overall a job well done Parks!
Getting ready to go to the RSL game with mom. Instead of my usual date, I decided to take out a much younger but just as handsome young man. Thanks for cheering on the team with me Parker. After the game we watched David Archuleta perform.

Christmas in June?? Yes, it's true. Last Christmas Parker didn't care to open any more presents after he opened his train. Therefore we had a couple of extra gifts to open this coming Christmas. Well he spotted them today and I decided to let him open just one. It was the game "memory." We tried to play it and all of the pieces ended up scattered across the floor. Probably should have waited a few more months huh..
I cannot emphasize enough how much I LOVE snow cones! I was so glad when I took Parker for the first time this year that he seemed to love them as much as I do! Yay. Now I have an excuse to treat ourselves to many snowcones this year!
Too bad this picture is so dark. He is so cute just half asleep, half awake in his favorite snoozing spot--the couch.

Parker does not seem to be a fan of PB&J, so when he asked for one this morning for breakfast, I agreed and so here he lays eating a sandwhich for breakfast. He hasn't eaten one since lol...

I wanted to check out a new spot to take pictures so I took my favorite subject, and started snapping. I LOVED how these 2 pictures in particular turned out...
June 20, 2009
Today was our 7th anniversary and I wanted to try to get a picture of the two of us while we were out on our date, but it was unusually rainy today and we weren't able to be outside long enough to get one picture without getting drenched. So instead, here's Parker wearing my friends soccer jersey :)

Happy Fathers Day! Here is Adam making his own breakfast. What a treat! I love you babe!

My new little helper. Carson LOVES to be sitting up and part of the action whenever he is awake. He is such a happy, easy going little guy.
There is nothing better than summer nights! I loved sitting outside tonight and loved the sky at sunset...
Today we had my niece Emmie and my nephew John over to play while their mom and dad went house hunting. We had such a fun day and the kids played so well together. The older kids were so cute with the babies and Carson sure loved to watch them and smile whenever they came around.
