May 2, and it's cold and rainy. I actually love the rain but I usually prefer it after we've had a bit of sunshine. This storm was great though. It rained most of the day. Parker and I were even able to play outside in it for a bit while Carson and Daddy took a nap. Parker wasn't too fond of getting wet so we spent most of the time on the covered porch. I had a ton of fun with the camera as you can tell... Rain drops are fun to photograph!

Another rainy day in May but the dark grey sky and the green grass border of the field across the street looked too beautiful to pass up.

Parker and his friend McKenna at Memory Grove. She is one year older and loved looking out for him while we were at the park.

Yesterday I purchased some herbs to plant in my garden but they told me to be careful with some of them and not plant them until after the last freeze. I'm so excited to get my garden going this year but I am especially excited for my herbs! I can't wait to make homemade salsa, bruschetta and pesto. Mmmmmm.

My two boys! Parker is becoming quite fond of Parker. Today he actually asked me if he could hold him and when I put Carson in his lap, he said "now take a picture." I really think these two will be great buds.

It will be interesting to see what happens--but one thing is for sure. It was the wake up call we needed to finish getting our food and water storage complete.

Helping Daddy mow the lawn. Parker LOVES mowing the lawn with daddy and talks about it the rest of the week until it is time to do it again the next week.

One month old already! Carson is such a mellow, patient baby. He is still a very sleepy little guy but manages to sleep pretty well through the night too. See post here for more information at one month...
It won't be hard to guess which picture is my favorite. ;) You got some amazing pictures Becki! I love the rain drops, the tree...and that capri sun one, AWESOME! And OF COURSE your boys are to die for! SO CUTE!
