April 13-23

I feel like a zombie these past couple of weeks. I guess that's what a newborn will do to you (with the help of a 2 year old keeping you on your toes all day so I can't usually squeeze in a nap!) Needless to say...here are the past several days of pictures.

The view most others tend to see of me. I'm usually hiding behind this thing a lot...

I couldn't decide between these two pictures. There is just something so cute about his little tummy and his swimming suit. And I love the bottom picture because of his skinned knees and the way the water is rippling off his legs in the water. We pulled out the swimming pool today since the weather reached 80 degrees! It was a beautiful day. I didn't realize it would be nice enough for the pool until I was putting Parker down for his nap. Once I did, I filled up the pool with water, hoping it would warm up a bit before he got in. After his nap he went straight for the pool. The water was still freezing but that didn't keep him out. He swam for 3 hours and although he told me often that he was "freezin!" He didn't want to get out...

The hornets are HORRIBLE at our house so I decided I might was well photograph one and try and make something cool out of their presence.

Spring is definitely here! We had a previous week of rain and snow and today was absolutely beautiful and warm! I love the blossoms on the trees...

Going on a walk after church. Loving the weather!

Tiny man asleep in his crib. I just love how little they look in their cribs and how none of the clothes ever seem to fit them when they are so new...

We wanted to go outside and look at the moon tonight...

Peeking on baby brother. Parker loves to check on him when he is napping--often resulting in waking him up. Thanks buddy!

Now that I'm not pregnant and I'm pretty much recovered, I'm ready to lace up my shoes and start playing soccer again! Oh how I've missed it!!!

Fresh out of the bath, warm, and ready for bed!

Morning drama. It's so hard to stop playing with toys and get dressed...

  1. Even though hornets are awful, I love the picture you got. It's awesome! And you're already ready for soccer? Wow...
I love the picture of Carson right out of the bath. He looks so content! And the morning drama of getting dressed...there's a reason I usually have a naked girl running around the house. haha
