3 weeks at once

Late posting my photos?? That's the story of my life lately. As usual though, I have been faithful at taking a photo every day, I'm just slow at getting them on here. In my defense, however, the past few weeks have been crazy! In nearly 3 weeks of pictures, most every single one of them is of my two little boys--my absolute favorite subjects! Today is my grandma's birthday so even though I'm not supposed to be doing much, I packed up the boys and headed up to visit her. She hadn't been able to meet Carson yet so I was excited to let her hold him. She is an amazing grandma and just as amazing as a great grandma. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Carson usually gags when we give him a pacifier. Sometimes we can get him to take one. However, when he is settling down for a snooze he starts chewing on his hand in search of something. Finally today, he found his thumb and immediately start sucking it and zonked out within seconds. It's a little early to tell...but I think we might have another thumb sucker on our hands.

Parker fed Carson a little bottle today. Carson has a little jaundice so we are supplementing a little formula to top off his feedings. Parker loved feeding him and laughed at all of the grunts he made and faces he pulled...

Coming home! It's crazy how tiny these little bodies are. I am always amazed when I put my babies in their car seat for the first time how miniature they look. This was also Adam's birthday but we post poned celebrating until a later date so that we could really celebrate in style. Welcome home Carson and happy birthday Adam!

Anticipating the birth of Carson in the morning. Adam's parents arrived tonight to stay with Parker while I was in the hospital. Margo brought these wonderful gifts including a darling black and white blanket and burp cloths that she made (I'll post pictures of those soon). Now all we need is a baby!

We finally bought a double stroller. We found a great deal on KSL and jumped on it. I love it and think it will be great to haul both boys around in. Parker loves it too and spent the next few days in this position watching shows and eating snacks. He's letting his animal friends sit in baby brothers seat until he's here to occupy it himself.

With a lot of insight, tips and direction from my friend I was able to create this set up for my photography "studio." I am excited with the result and now just need to use it. If you're interested in having pictures taken, let me know :)

For my birthday I got a lighting kit. Now taking photographs indoors is a ton easier and the outcome is ten times better! Parker was my first subject (of course lol) and this is a shot of him posing for the camera. I only had one light set up at the time and have since sync'd my 2nd fill light so the shadow on the left isn't there. I love, love, LOVE this new gear.

Parker found the Santa hat he wore when he was a tiny baby and thought it was so fun to wear it again. He wore it around the house for a bit today and when I finally got him to look at me, all he gave me was his cheesy smile. I love his goofy personality and quickly snapped a few shots...

Our neighborhood is doing a little preschool once a week and we love going and learning and socializing (yes, I am learning things at preschool too, LOL). This month the lessons are about seasons and Parker (with my help) made this cute little sun to use when he sings itsy bitsy spider.

Dancing, with Monkey. On Sesame Street today they had R.E.M. do a musical number with the muppets ("Furry happy monsters"). We recorded it and usually have to watch this and dance to it at least once every day...

Our cluttered fridge. We didn't know when purchasing our stainless steel fridge that the front was not magnetic. We have to put all of our things on a tiny section on one side of our fridge. Needless to say, it gets really cluttered, really quick.

Walking to the Jazz game. The 3 of us had a great time and Parker LOVED cheering on the jazz. He is fascinated with "beep beeps" any and every kind and at the jazz game it happened to be the beep of the buzzer. "C'mon Jazz" is the phrase he shouted all night and he hasn't stopped talking about the game since...

This was a shot of Trax as we were walking to the arena. Parker REALLY, REALLY wanted to ride on it and kept hollering, "stop train, stop. wait for me" whenever one would pass by.
